Hey yoh

So the first thing I have to say is that I have put of critiquing this for so long simply because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to say about this piece.

I will start with the thing that disappoints me most about this image and that is that the thumb nail looks better than the full size image to me. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the loose lines which do other amazing things for this piece but as I saw it in thumb nail first I can't fully appreciate it.

Now that I've mentioned the only thing I didn't like about this piece let me tell you the things I love about this piece. The loose lines allow for the shading to do the work and create a full form to this character that would not other wise be there.
Though this character is in tones of grey the number of emotions you could say are represented here would vary by the viewer I see a confidant fighter walking away from victory at first glance; while I also see a sad individual walking through despair when I look at it for any amount of time.

Overall this image is quite striking and thought provoking it makes me wonder what the story of this character could be.
